What is RFID to LivePoint®?

The patented technology of LivePoint® uses passive RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) smart tags to automatically identify and track objects as they are moved from receiving, manufacturing, WIP (work in process), finished goods (including racks), and shipping in your facilities. Redefining the Forklift as a Smart Asset

With LivePoint®, the forklift and its operator are transformed into smart assets. Each forklift is fitted with a Smart Hub, a monitor, and an RFID reader. When an operator lifts a product, the system immediately identifies the product and confirms accuracy with a clear red or green on-screen indicator. The same confirmation occurs at drop-off—whether the destination is a rack location, floor position, or dock door. If a product is placed in the wrong location, the system issues a red alert accompanied by an audible warning, ensuring the error is caught in real time. In effect, the process leaves virtually no room for errors.
